Johan Lapere - Project Manager for Energy Efficiency Renovations, Energy Expert, and Building Manager. He is originally trained in carpentry and electricity, and has continued to lead and manage multiple public sector initiatives. These include: project leader in public buildings such as hospitals and retirement homes and project developer within a workplace for alternative labor in the social sector. In addition to this, Johan is Chief Instructor of the Social Workplace in the city of Menen, Belgium, and both Technical Coordinator for the learning workplace of the OCMW and Technical Advisor for the social rental office in the city of Kortrijk. He is an active member of the RenBEN working group from the Leiedal regional development project, in collaboration with Ghent University and other partners, to research efficient renovation of rental properties for the social rental market. Last but not least, Johan is the Renovation supervisor for the city of Kortrijk.
