ILUMINA 2015 INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON ADVANCED DAYLIGHTING SIMULATION
Speakers
by María Beatriz Piderit, Universidad del Bio-Bio Concepcíon
The Master in Sustainable Habitat and Energy Efficiency at the University of Bio-Bio, in conjunction with the Department of Design and Theory of Architecture and Department of Construction Science, invites you to participate in the Second Edition of the “International Workshop on Advanced Simulation of Natural lighting” to be held from 16 to 18 March 2015, at CITEC: Centre for Research on Construction Technology, located at Av. Collao # 1202, Concepción, Chile.
The main objective of this course is to deliver practical knowledge to asses and monitor daylighting via simulation of three-dimensional models. This course covers the fundamentals of lighting and application of software tools for advanced simulation as Radiance and Daysim, also tools for assessing visual comfort through High Dynamic Range (HDR) photographs.
The methodology used will be theoretical and practical lessons that introduce to the main concepts, step by step exercises that will generate physical models, simulation and validation of results.
It will be held at the University of Bío-Bío, in Concepción, Chile. Av. Collao 1202. From the 18th to 20th march between 8:30 and 17:30.
The cost of the course is $90.000 CLP
