Venue – Mogens Dahl Concert Hall in Copenhagen
Mogens Dahl Concert Hall is tucked away in a cobbled courtyard in the Islands Brygge district of Copenhagen. Originally an old horse stable, it has been transformed into a concert hall known for its wooden rafters, high ceilings, and great acoustics. The hall provides a cozy and engaging atmosphere, and with its excellent sound and lighting, Mogens Dahl Concert Hall is an ideal setting for the Daylight Symposium.
20 years of Daylight Symposium
From a humble start in 2005 the VELUX Daylight Symposium has established itself as the most important, open and cross-disciplinary meeting forum for daylight enthusiasts from all over the world. The biennial symposium is where researchers, architects, lighting consultants, legislators, educators, manufacturers and more - meet each other and share knowledge and insights. The Daylight Symposium has been invaluable for bringing people together and over the course of the multiple events, participants have gotten to know each other across the world.
VELUX Daylight Academic Forum 2025
The Daylight Academic Forum is a networking event for Ph.D. students to discuss their research methods focusing on daylight-related issues. It offers students the chance to present their work to leading experts and peers, receiving valuable feedback for further development. The 8th VELUX Daylight Academic Forum will be held on 17 September 2025 at Design Werck, Copenhagen.
