Mogens Dahl Concert Hall in Copenhagen
“A great atmosphere, bright spaces, and perfect acoustics.”
The 10th VELUX Daylight Symposium will take place in the heart of Copenhagen at Mogens Dahl Concert Hall, a venue with a unique history and a bright future.
The building dates back to 1901 and was originally a barn and gatehouse for Hertz Book Manufacturer. The main building now serves as the headquarters for the Danish design brand Vipp. In what is now the concert hall, horses and horse wagons were once stabled and parked, ready to deliver books and prints to the citizens and businesses of Copenhagen.
Over the years, the building has undergone many changes, including housing car workshops and car painter companies for a long period. The old garages have been transformed into the “Small Hall,” where guests can enjoy a glass of wine during concert breaks.
This hidden gem in the heart of Islands Brygge is frequented by world-renowned musicians and the world's largest companies.
