What is a Transformative Partnership?

Achieving the vision of Living Places Copenhagen required teamwork in the form of Transformative Partnerships.

This approach allows experts from different fields to collaborate through the whole project to tackle problems from multiple angles and complement each other’s varying skillsets and knowledge bases. As Kasper Benjamin Reimer, Head of Innovation at EFFEKT Architects, precisely describes it, ‘we are all given a voice’ throughout the whole collaborative process. But perhaps even more importantly, ‘everyone is willing to listen’ to each other and recognise that others ‘have knowledge that we don’t have.’

Transformative partnering results in a ripple effect that encourages ideas to emerge, grow, and spread across contexts and locations.
